The Midlands Media Museum is a long, ongoing project to preserve and celebrate the history of broadcasting in the Midlands.
We ultimately hope to be able to create a Midlands-based museum, dedicated to TV and radio production in the Midlands (whether that’s in the physical sense, or as online documentation remains to be seen!).
The only way we can create a long-lasting tribute to broadcasting within the Midlands is through the kind generosity of members of the public who might be kind enough to donate original items of broadcasting history: TV and radio memorabilia, scripts, props, broadcast equipment etc.
We’re also keen to hear from people who may have worked in broadcasting in the Midlands over the last 60 years and who may wish to share their memories with us.
